Use the gift

Daughter, don’t forget.

Don’t forget how I love you.

Don’t forget how I hold you,

No matter where you are or what you’ve done.

You are safe with me.

You are forgiven.

You are never neglected.

I give you all you need.

I love without reserve.

That love does not include worry.

So put it away.

Put it away, throw it away.

Worry is not from me.

Worry is not what I have for you.

It is a distraction, a thorn.

Let me pull out the thorn and heal your hand.

You need only reach for me,

Not the roses the world extends.

They are soft and bright but full of thorns.

They are deceptive.

I do not deceive.

I only give the rose,

Not the thorn.

Open the gift

You can hand it all to me, daughter.

Just make sure you rest.

Rest is priority.

No work, no assignment, no task from me or man

Should surpass it.

Rest is my gift to you.

Use it, accept it.

Breathe it in and out.

When you accept it, you accept me, daughter.

When you rest, it is holy.

It is preparing you for all I have for you.

Remember that we have work to do together.

Remember that it will get done.

If it’s not today, it’s all right.

It will get done in the right time.

Now tend to your family, daughter.

Remember the garden?

Abide in me, rest in me.

It will all work out.

I’m working for you, daughter.

I work for those I love.

Accept the gift

Daughter, rest.

Rest in me.

Remember that I am your love.

I am your peace.

I am the bearer of your burdens.

Not you.

This is my gift to you.

Accept it, child.

Don’t leave the gift unopened, unused.

Take it, accept it.

Enjoy it, cherish it.

Show it off.

Don’t hide it.

Use it.

And tell me about it.

Keep talking to me, daughter.

We will be working together.

But for now, you can rest.

Everything

Daughter, do you remember how I’ve told you

I can take everything?

Give everything to me.

Don’t hold back.

Don’t believe the lie

That it’s too much for me,

That I can’t help.

Don’t believe the lie

That you’ve made your own way,

That you’ve got it all on your own.

I am with you, daughter.

Always.

There isn’t a moment I’m not with you.

There isn’t a time I don’t cherish you.

There isn’t anything you can do,

Or not do,

To make me love you less,

To change my plans.

Don’t worry.

I’ve still got you.

I’ve still got plans for you.

You are marked as my very own.

I will never leave my own.

I can’t be away from those I love,

Just as you can’t.

No limit

Listen to this week’s word

Daughter, I know there is so much you want to do.

I know how your heart longs for more.

I know you.

I know your pain and your doubts and everything you’re questioning.

Be still.

Daughter, don’t be ashamed to cry.

Don’t pretend to be strong.

You can admit your weakness.

Come to me with your weakness.

Come to me when you can’t take any more,

No matter how soon you think it is.

I know your threshold.

I know your limits.

I have no limit.

I have no limit of how much I can help you.

Daughter, I can help you in everything.

There isn’t a single thing you have to do alone.

I am with you always.

Always.

It doesn’t matter where you are, what you’ve accomplished,

Or what you haven’t.

I’m still here.

Just follow me

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, don’t worry that you don’t get it right.

Just follow me.

Don’t hesitate to follow me.

And don’t rush.

Don’t rely on your timing. Rely on mine.

Rely on me.

I’ve got this all timed right, and I know how to guide you.

Let me guide you.

Don’t rely on yourself and what you think. Rely on me and how I think.

Keep learning, child. Learn as though your life depended on it. Don’t believe you have to know it all.

I’ll show you and teach you.

Don’t worry.

Trust me. And know that I love you.

Rest from your work for now, child. Think and pray today.

Rest in my name.

Just rest

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, remember to rest in me.

Don’t feel bad for resting.

Resting is from me, and it is holy.

In rest, you find me.

In rest, you are renewed.

In rest, you are prepared.

In rest, you find your focus.

It only comes from me, daughter.

The world tries to be clever and offer its rest, but it’s not real rest.

It only comes from me.
