Taken

Daughter, what I have for you, no one will take.

They cannot. My plans cannot, will not change. Do you not see that you are a part of them?

They cannot happen without you. Daughter, you are necessary. You are needed by others. Go to them, help them. I chose you to do it. Would I put you here if I had not chosen you?

Would I give you what is needed if it wasn’t needed?

Daughter, I need nothing. But I love you. I want this, all this, all these, all the growth and support and challenges and joy and people. For you. I love you.

Why would I change? I cannot. I do not. Daughter, my love, my plans do not change. You cannot change them, nor anyone. Do not live like this is a possibility.

I am sending all to you, for you. This day, this week, this time will be wonderful, my daughter. You will be closer than you ever thought.

Nothing is over. Time is no issue, my love. I hold it. I hold you.

And I’m not letting go.

Return

Daughter, I am always near.

You can come to me on and off the page. I have not gone, my daughter. Yes, you are still mine.

Daughter, you are changing, growing. Do not be ashamed of the woman you are, whom I have created. Have I not made you artist, mother, wife, worker? Have I not chosen you for this time — with these, here, now? Did I not make you with my hands? With my own?

My daughter, you are my own. You have come far, though you have not arrived. Not fully. You will keep arriving. One place, then another. One thought, then another. One idea, one exclamation, one burst of creativity and love and dancing in your mind and soul and body, then another. Daughter, each day, you arrive. Closer. Do not fight the close of one day. It ushers in another.

My daughter, you are so weary, I know. Rest. Sleep, close your eyes, let time move. Let me move it, move you. Let me move you from dream to dream to daylight to morning to afternoon to the close. The close of the day, the dance, the light that burns, glows, lives somewhere else, just then. It lives so it will be where you are, when you awake, when I stir you, show you what you can only see in the light. Oh, my daughter, there is so much to show you. It is not all the same, as you think. It is new each day, with Me. It is what you have sought. Only look in the light, my dear one. Look out, in, around, behind. Is it not everywhere? Is light not all around?

Walk and feel and love and know, know, my love that it is, that I AM, near, here, inside, outside. Everywhere.

My love, you think you have missed me, disappointed my expectations, my plans, my light. Oh, daughter, you forget I AM. You forget I do not disappoint. I do not become disappointed or make disappointment. I create appointment, appointed. I created you, my daughter. Do not forget. I create not to disappoint, not to underwhelm.

I create for you.

I made you for this

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, I am doing things differently than you might think.

This is the way I work, and it’s good. You can trust me.

I love you, and I give you good gifts. I am a good Father.

Just keep writing, and let the pen speak. I made you to hold the pen, to let it move as the Spirit wills, to speak and tell about me and my love in creative and beautiful ways.

Do you know that I laid everything out for you?

I chose your grandparents and your mother and father to help you know your place in my kingdom.

It’s not conventional, is it?

Who would have known that you were royalty?

You didn’t even know until you were older, but even before you knew, I knew.

I knew you would accomplish great things for me. I knew your potential and your skill. I gave them to you as gifts. I give them to you still, and I have more to give.

Yes, even more.

It’s just begun, child. Just trust me, and keep moving forward.

Moving forward may look different than you think, but you’ll know it’s me working. Don’t be afraid.

Give me that discomfort and dread and don’t take it back, child. Give it to me so it will be gone for good.

The world can do nothing to you when I am with you. And I am with you always, even until the end of the age.

Until then, enjoy days like this, and do not worry.

Write and think and contemplate with me. You know I love when we do.

I made you for this, child. Remember that I made you with a story to tell and write.

Now tell it, write it.

Let’s work together and produce a masterpiece.

Take time to remember

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, remember that I love you today.

Remember what I’ve said.

Remember that I’m near.

Remember that there is no worrying or rushing or hurrying with me.

Remember that today can be joyful when you keep watching me.

Remember there is nothing more important.

Remember that I am working, that I love your heart.

Remember that it will all work out, that fear has no dominion.

Remember that I love you.

See Deuteronomy 31:8; Psalm 103:2; John 15:11 and 16:26-27; Acts 17:28; Philippians 4:6-7; Hebrews 10:23 and 10:35-36; James 1:2-4, 1:12, and 1:17

In my light

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, you have things to learn before you can do more.

You are being prepared for the next steps. Trust in me and the process. You will be right where you need to be at just the right time. Trust me.

Believe that I am working and that it is good. Believe that it isn’t all for nothing. Believe you are moving forward. Believe me, not the world. Be like Daniel. Use the gifts I give you for good, even when all around you isn’t.

Trust me. Believe me. Rely on my love and my power to live without fear.

Keep reading. Keep studying. Keep writing. Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking.

Don’t be afraid.

There is nothing to fear.

I’m timing this just right. No one will interrupt. No one will interfere with my will for my children.

Keep moving forward with me. Take my hand and come. Come with me. Feel how much I hold you, how close I am. I am all you need, and I will never leave you.

I give you everything, my daughter. Use what I give you to defeat fear. Use it to remember I am in you, working and moving … always. Use it to find peace and strength in me. Use it to keep holding on, keep seeking.

Remember that nothing will stop me, and I am always on time. You won’t lose this, daughter. You won’t lose me. I won’t be going anywhere.

I will stay with you. Through every task, every menial task, I’m there. Find me in them. Seek me in them. Remember I’m there. Not just now but always.

Always, daughter.

I protect your body, your house, your mind, your family. Don’t worry about yourself or them. I do not bring disaster, only relief and clarity.

Don’t stop moving. Keep going forward with me. Keep walking, keep shining. I made you to shine with my light, and it is the brightest light. None other can match its brightness.

In my light, you are warm and safe.

In my light, you are you.

In my light, you are held and cherished and guided.

In my light, you will find all.

In my light, you will be my daughter.
