Jeremiah 17:7-8

Only with me

Daughter, you can be my vessel,

My servant, my messenger.

But you can only do it with me.

Only with me

Can your purpose, your hope

Be fulfilled.

The world wants to offer you a replica

Of my plan.

It will look the same.

It will hold “promise.”

It will feel easier.

It will be false.

Nothing can replace or replicate

What I have done for you,

What I have for you.

But you must stay with me because

It is only through me.

See Proverbs 3:5-6; Matthew 20:26-28; John 6:60-69, 13:6-17, 13:20, 14:1-14, and 15:1-17; 2 Corinthians 4:7; Ephesians 3:20; Philippians 4:13; 2 Timothy 2:20-21

Meaningful

Daughter, worry is meaningless.

The world gives great importance to fear,

Puts it on display,

Champions it,

Legitimizes it.

But it is false.

Keep your eyes, your mind clear

To see.

The world has its priorities –

They are not yours.

The world has its idols –

They are not yours.

I AM infinitely more than these.

Today, do not worry.

Know that I AM here.

You don’t have to do it on your own.

You can do it all with me.

You can do all that is

Important,

Relevant,

Meaningful.

See Ecclesiastes 2:22-26; Matthew 6:19-34 and 28:18-20; John 14:27; Romans 8:5-6; Ephesians 3:20; Philippians 2:13 and 4:13

Harvest

Keep going, daughter.

Your waiting,

Your working,

Your planting

Will all pay off.

Your steps won’t be in vain

When they’re taken with me.

Do this, so you can tell others

How you did it with me.

Remember my glory, my rewards,

My harvest

To those who work

With me.

Tailored

Daughter, the process is tailored

For you,

For your growth,

For the gifts I have for you.

Remember as you work,

As you endure,

As you rest.

Remember that you are

Precious to me,

That there is no one else

Like you,

For a reason.

What we have between us

Can never be duplicated.

You are the only one I want

To be like you,

The only one I want for this

Assignment.

Just for you

Daughter, stay with me

And I’ll take you

Where you never thought possible.

You’ve always thought

Your destiny isn’t possible.

It isn’t possible for

Someone like you.

The truth is

I want someone just like you for

This assignment.

No one else can fulfill it.

It’s made for you.

I designed you for it,

For today,

For tomorrow,

For all your days.

No one can do the good things

I have for you.

I made them

Just for you.

You’ll see

Daughter, trust.

It’s not up to you.

It’s up to me, and

I love you.

I’m here with you, and

I’m not leaving.

It’s greater than what you see,

Than what many see.

Will you help them see?

Help them see what I’ve done for them, for you.

I equip you.

I give you all you need to do this because

There is nothing greater.

I’ll lead them to you, at

Just the right time.

You don’t have to strive.

You don’t have to work for the honor to help.

It’s already right there.

I’ll show you.

And you’ll see.

Plant your garden

Daughter, I’m right here.

I’m right beside you, never to leave.

Your accomplishments will come and go.

Your assignments will change.

But build your home.

Plant your garden.

Don’t waste away on longing.

What you long for is given to you freely.

What you long for has been yours since the day you believed.

Freedom.

Love.

Peace.

Joy.

Rescue.

They’re all yours, right here, right now.

Believe it and you’ll see it.

You might even feel it.

To feel won’t always bring joy,

But to know will.

To know me, to believe me, will.

Believe me.

Come and believe me.

Daughter, I love you. You can believe that.

What I love most

Listen to this week’s word

Daughter, your heart is what I love most.

I know what it wants.

I know what excites it, and it is beautiful.

Daughter, you are beautiful.

What you’re doing now, with me, is beautiful.

Doesn’t it feel better?

Doesn’t it make more sense for you to be with me?

It does.

It does because I made you, because I know you.

I know what’s best for you.

I know the right time to take you to something new.

You have to trust me.

Remember that this is your calling.

To trust.

To love.

To know me.

To share it.

To show it.

The desire and the power

Listen to a reading of the text below

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

-Philippians 2:13

Daughter, I know you struggled with that verse today.

It’s okay to struggle with the Word sometimes. You are human, and sometimes you don’t understand.

Remember that you always have the desire to do what pleases you – again, you are human.

But the desire to please me can take some time.

I’m teaching you this. I’m always teaching you this.

And yes, I will give you the desires of your heart.

But let’s look at your heart first.

Does it want to serve me or serve you?

Don’t you think I need someone to serve me where you are?

See.

That’s hard for you to ponder. Hard for you to hear. You don’t want to serve there.

Remember how I said I was teaching you to think differently?

Think about Jeremiah. Think about Daniel. Think about Moses.

Did they always like where they were assigned?

Think about Jonah and Joseph.

Did they like serving me where they were?

I put you in places where you’ll be different, but I give you people who aren’t so different to help.

Your sisters. Your family. Your children. Your friends.

Places and riches and things are made by man, but you, daughter, are made by me.

Don’t think for a second that you are less than what man makes or that it has to influence you.

Don’t think that you must conform or belong.

I put you here not to belong but to show my light.

Show them who I am, even if you think they won’t care or it won’t do any good.

Daniel was just a man, but with me, he was more. Same with the others.

Look at what they did. Look at how they showed my glory for generations to see, for you to see.

Think of these deep things, and try to understand.

Think of how I am working on your behalf, wherever you are.

And don’t forget the things that bring you joy without you even having to try.

I give those to you as a gift.

The hard things are a gift, too.

You’ll see it.

Just give yourself time.

Listen to me.

Trust me.

Rest in me.

Everything, every day

Listen to a reading of the text below

Oh, daughter, you will see what I have for you, but you can see what I have for today, too.

Every day is a gift. There is something in every day.

I am with you every day. Always.

I never tire of you.

I know you have dreams and all the things you wish you could do and all the things you wish you didn’t have to do.

But I am with you in all these things.

I don’t leave you to fight it out alone or even enjoy it alone.

I want you to share it all with me.

I’m there. I’m in it anyway. Remember I’m there.

Acknowledge me, yes, but invite me to be with you.

I like when you come to me.

I never turn you away. I always want to help.

No task is too big or too small for me.

You and I can achieve so much more together.

On your own, you can do so little. With me, you can do so much.

So much more than you can think or ask.

What I have is yours, daughter, because you are my inheritance.

See it and accept it.

Take what is given to you not just for one thing or one area of your life but for everything.

See how my glory and my abundance fills everything in your life.

See Deuteronomy 4:20 and 32:9-11 (NIV translations*); Deuteronomy 8:17-18 and 31:8; Psalm 16:5, 7-8, 11; Psalm 37:3-5; Psalm 139:7-10; Isaiah 54:10; Matthew 6:33-34 and 28:18-20; John 15:5-8; Ephesians 3:20; Philippians 4:11-13; Colossians 1:11-17; 1 Peter 5:6-7

*I have used the New International Version for these verses in Deuteronomy because of the word “inheritance,” which is also in the King James Version. In the New Living Translation, it is written as “special possession” in Deuteronomy 4:20 and 32:9. The words are synonymous, but “inheritance” is clearer in this case. However it’s stated, know that you are precious to God.
