And when

Daughter, come to me

When you have questions,

When you are overwhelmed,

When you cannot understand,

When tears don’t stop sorrow,

When you feel hopeless, helpless,

When your feelings dictate.

When you come,

I will guide you.

When you ask,

I will hear you.

When you wander,

I will find you.

When you cry,

I will hold you.

And when you find joy,

You will find

Me.

See Deuteronomy 31:8; Psalm 32; Matthew 11:28-30; John 16:16-33; Romans 8:35-39; Philippians 4:6-9; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 3:20-22

Steadfast

Be steadfast, daughter,

And love.

Love with every step.

Love with every word,

Every action.

Love with every thought,

Every hope.

Love, knowing I am here,

Knowing it all comes from me.

Love, knowing I will take care of you,

That love has all dominion.

Now go, daughter.

Go forward, loving,

Knowing

Who’s beside you,

Fighting for you,

Guiding you,

Making all things work,

Bringing you

Here.

The whole time

Daughter, seek me.

Seek my ways and pause

When you stray.

Pause and remember

Who takes care of you,

Who is right here.

I am always

Right here.

I never leave,

Never make you go on your own.

Daughter,

Never believe

You are on your own.

I am moving and thinking

And wandering and walking

With you,

The whole time.

I love you

The whole time.

Accept

You are a gift to me, daughter.

When I made you, I was

Delighted.

I still am

When I’m with you.

That doesn’t change,

Doesn’t wane.

Before you were born,

After you die,

My love remains

Constant.

Don’t believe the lie that

You’re not good enough,

That you shouldn’t have my gifts.

Daughter, I want to give them to you.

I want to help you.

I want to be with you.

Let me take care of you.

Let me give what I have for you –

All of it.

I won’t hold back.

Don’t hold back from me.

Daughter, I invite you.

Accept.

Accept and hold on.

Accept and walk with me.

Accept and know

Joy.

All three

I love when you find me, daughter.

We celebrate when you find me,

When you become aware,

When you realize

I’ve been there all along.

We don’t make fun –

We rejoice.

We know that in the awareness and

The tears and

The letting go,

You are being made stronger.

We love to see you grow.

We love it because it brings you closer to your destiny,

Closer to us.

Daughter, we are all for you.

Father, Son, Holy Spirit.

All three.

We are one sovereign force who

Loves you.

And still

Daughter, I am not selective

In my love.

I don’t love “only if.”

No.

I love no matter what.

Unconditionally.

When you sin,

When you’re surrounded by sin,

When you’ve been ridiculed,

When you cause hurt or anger,

When your thoughts center on yourself,

When you long for more,

I am there.

I see it.

I know it.

And still,

I love you.

Just as you are

Daughter, why are you afraid

I’m not near?

Why do you think

I would leave you?

Daughter, never.

Never.

No matter where you go,

No matter what you do,

You are mine.

Daughter, I need to be with those I love.

Yes, I love you, just as you are.

When you are unlovable,

Undesirable,

Different,

Cast aside,

Too much,

I am there because

I love you,

Just as you are.

Nothing to separate

Daughter, there is nothing to separate us

When you truly rest.

So come to me.

Don’t feel guilty.

Don’t condemn yourself.

Just come.

Come and rest

With me.

Let me renew.

Let me restore.

Let me free you.

Let me be the lifter of

Burdens.

Let me be

The solace, the solution, the source of

Freedom,

The only way to peace.

I love you, daughter.

I say it truly,

Deeply,

Honestly,

Sincerely,

With all intentions of

Helping you,

Knowing you,

Being with you.

Rest in this.

Rest, knowing

I love you.

Whole

Daughter, how often do I tell you to rest?

You think there is too much to do.

It is only through my rest that you will accomplish anything.

I won’t give what you ask when you strive.

I won’t guide you when you insist on leading me.

Daughter, know my sovereignty.

Know that with me, you have everything.

You have my favor, child.

You don’t have to earn it.

You can fight.

You can move.

You can achieve.

But only with me.

Otherwise, it is fruitless.

It will only make you tired, susceptible.

With me, you are strong.

With me, your weaknesses are transformed.

Your mind, your heart, your body are made whole.

Nothing outside of me is whole.

I know, and still

Daughter,

Everything you do, everything you say, everything you think –

I know it, and still,

I love you.

I want you close, to come with me.

It’s no trick.

It’s not too good to be true.

It’s not burdensome.

You don’t have to work extra hard to know me,

To be with me.

You only need to believe in me, in my sovereignty.

You only need to remember how I’ve worked

For you.

Take a breath.

Look for me, and

You will find me.

Forgive yourself,

Think of the good,

Pray, and

Rest, my daughter.
