You will miss my direction?

Why do you think

You won’t hear me again?

Daughter, you do not have to be

Good enough

To hear.

Measure up

To be near.

You cannot earn

My favor, even when

You believe.

I give to you because

I love you.

Oh, daughter, nothing you have

Is from you.

Is from your hands.

What you have

Is given.

Material and immaterial.

Tangle and intangible.

Visible and invisible.

Seen and unseen.

Felt and unfelt.

Heard and unheard.

It all comes

From me.

Oh, daughter, you’re so weary.

Rest now, and know that it’s all right.

Know that I’ve got it.

You are understood by me.

Your reasonings,
