Daughter, why do you think

You will miss my direction?

You have heard me before

So clearly,

And you knew.

Why do you think

You won’t hear me again?

Daughter, you do not have to be

Good enough

To hear.

You do not have to

Measure up

To be near.

You cannot earn

My favor, even when

You believe.

I give to you because

I love you.

Oh, daughter, nothing you have

Is from you.

Nothing you have

Is from your hands.

What you have

Is given.

Material and immaterial.

Tangle and intangible.

Visible and invisible.

Seen and unseen.

Felt and unfelt.

Heard and unheard.

It all comes

From me.

I knew,

Those I have for you.

How you will

Know.

Prepared for.

But let me clear

Your sight.

Let me give you

A light.

Let me make the way

Daughter, don’t be afraid that

I won’t be with you.

Whatever road you take,

I will be there.

Close.

But if you walk

With me,

You will go farther.

You will feel me,

Hear me,

See me,

Everywhere.

When you go

Your way,

I’m still there, but

You won’t hear, see,

Feel.

With me,

You can listen, perceive,

Sense.

Where I take you is not

Distracting.

With me, you can focus.

With me, you can lead.

Don’t be lured by what feels easy.

Remember it’s not.

Without me,

It’s harder.

Without me, it makes

No sense,

No progress.

I will take you where

I want you to be, and it is

Where I AM.

Daughter, worry is meaningless.

The world gives great importance to fear,

Puts it on display,

Champions it,

Legitimizes it.

But it is false.

Keep your eyes, your mind clear

To see.

The world has its priorities –

They are not yours.

The world has its idols –

They are not yours.

I AM infinitely more than these.

Today, do not worry.

Know that I AM here.

You don’t have to do it on your own.

You can do it all with me.

You can do all that is

Important,

Relevant,

Meaningful.
