Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6, NLT)

And when

Daughter, come to me

When you have questions,

When you are overwhelmed,

When you cannot understand,

When tears don’t stop sorrow,

When you feel hopeless, helpless,

When your feelings dictate.

When you come,

I will guide you.

When you ask,

I will hear you.

When you wander,

I will find you.

When you cry,

I will hold you.

And when you find joy,

You will find

Me.

Only with me

Daughter, you can be my vessel,

My servant, my messenger.

But you can only do it with me.

Only with me

Can your purpose, your hope

Be fulfilled.

The world wants to offer you a replica

Of my plan.

It will look the same.

It will hold “promise.”

It will feel easier.

It will be false.

Nothing can replace or replicate

What I have done for you,

What I have for you.

But you must stay with me because

It is only through me.

Let me

Daughter, let me guide you.

Let me speak,

Let me move,

Let me heal,

Let me make the way clear.

Let me take care of it.

I AM your provider,

Your guide,

Your advocate,

Your love.

I AM the one who sees

Your heart, always.

I AM the one who made it, who made

You.

Ally

Daughter, trust me.

Trust in my process.

Trust in sanctification.

Have joy in it.

Take joy in my words and my guidance.

Take joy in knowing that where I’m leading you

Is good.

You have asked to be my vessel,

And it will be granted.

Trust in how I am doing it.

Trust that I know the best way.

Moving forward in the world looks different

Than it does with me.

But know that it is better, that it will lead

To your destiny,

Designed by me,

Your ally,

Your advocate,

Your savior.

Replicas

Trust me, daughter.

Nothing in this world will get you

What faith will get you.

So remain in me.

Surrender what comes between

You and me,

And you will have what you want,

What you ask for.

Trust that I love you,

That I provide,

That I give gifts.

Daughter, I give the best gifts.

Seek them, and don’t settle

For replicas.

The world will give you nothing and expect

Everything.

I give you everything

And only want

You.

Trade

Daughter, only I can bring you what you want,

In ways you do not understand,

Sometimes do not expect.

Sometimes there is pain before the gift.

Sometimes there is waiting.

Sometimes there is heartache and tears and joy that seems

Distant.

But it isn’t.

Joy is near because

Joy is always with me, like

Hope is always with me.

Hope is a gift, and

It’s free.

Hope costs you nothing of value.

Yes, it can be uncomfortable.

It can be hard.

But what you trade for hope is

finite, temporary, ultimately

Useless.

Hope is never this way.

It will keep you standing, walking, running,

Dancing.

Listen and let

Daughter, listen.

Listen for me.

Listen to me.

Find joy in it,

In obedience,

In being with your Father.

Rest, read, write,

Absorb everything I show you.

It will only help you.

This is what I want to do today and

Always.

Let your heart rejoice.

Let it sing and praise and know me.

Let it go where I take it.

Let your heart stay with me.

Let it.

You’ll see

Daughter, trust.

It’s not up to you.

It’s up to me, and

I love you.

I’m here with you, and

I’m not leaving.

It’s greater than what you see,

Than what many see.

Will you help them see?

Help them see what I’ve done for them, for you.

I equip you.

I give you all you need to do this because

There is nothing greater.

I’ll lead them to you, at

Just the right time.

You don’t have to strive.

You don’t have to work for the honor to help.

It’s already right there.

I’ll show you.

And you’ll see.

I don’t give up

Daughter, the tasks I give you are not burdensome.

They are designed for you and me,

Together.

I don’t give them to you and leave.

I don’t give up on you.

I don’t give up.

Did I give up on my children in the desert?

Did I give up after the wickedness, the flood, the idolatry?

Do I give up now?

Daughter, I am working every day,

In you, in all my children, simultaneously.

It is beyond your understanding,

But that does not make it less so.

Do you see?

Daughter, I love you.

You need not worry.

There is so much you think you’re missing,

So many good things that don’t come because

You don’t deserve it.

It’s true that you deserve none of it, but daughter,

I give it to you.

I give it all to you because I love you.

There is no condemnation.

There is no withholding.

There is no stern distance with me.

There is only love and peace when you come.

There is only grace and great joy.

There is only love, boundless love.

Oh, daughter, if you could only see

Each day

How I see you.
