It must belong to you?

You are more than

What you clutch.

What you hold

Does not define,

Does not fulfill,

Does not identify.

Only I can hold all of it.

Only I can hold

My daughter,

My love,

My chosen,

My masterpiece.

You are more than

What you hold,

What you desire,

What you dream.

Yes, daughter,

Even more.

Give me

What wakes you in the middle of the night.

Give me

What robs you of peace.

Give me

What you can’t figure out,

What you can’t see.

Give me

What you don’t understand.

When you give,

I will help.

I won’t help when you clutch

Your gifts,

Your prospects,

Your plans,

Your desires,

Your dreams.

Daughter, let go of them.

Trust me with them.

I will make them

Bigger,

Better,

Fruitful,

Beautiful,

More than you have dreamt.

But I can only do it

If you let go.

I won’t pry your fingers.

You must let

Go.

Strong.

Learning my ways will

Energize,

Invigorate,

Awaken.

Letting me work,

Letting yourself rest

And cry

And laugh

And love

Are your strengths.

Letting go is

Strength.

Daughter, submit and come with me.

“Submit” is not a word you like, but

It is not what you think.

In submission, there is power.

My power.

My power serves

The weak,

The meek,

The ones who serve.

My power does not serve those

Who believe they don’t need it.

My power does not dominate for selfish gain.

My power defeats evil.

My power lives in you, daughter.

When you submit to it,

You have it.

You have it to do good,

To love,

To share light.

Submission is not

An act of weakness.

It is the way to strength,

Real strength,

In me.

No one is stronger.

Why wouldn’t you want that strength

To dwell in you?

Daughter, let me dwell.
