Let me

Daughter, let me guide you.

Let me speak,

Let me move,

Let me heal,

Let me make the way clear.

Let me take care of it.

I AM your provider,

Your guide,

Your advocate,

Your love.

I AM the one who sees

Your heart, always.

I AM the one who made it, who made

You.

Listen and let

Daughter, listen.

Listen for me.

Listen to me.

Find joy in it,

In obedience,

In being with your Father.

Rest, read, write,

Absorb everything I show you.

It will only help you.

This is what I want to do today and

Always.

Let your heart rejoice.

Let it sing and praise and know me.

Let it go where I take it.

Let your heart stay with me.

Let it.

Whole

Daughter, how often do I tell you to rest?

You think there is too much to do.

It is only through my rest that you will accomplish anything.

I won’t give what you ask when you strive.

I won’t guide you when you insist on leading me.

Daughter, know my sovereignty.

Know that with me, you have everything.

You have my favor, child.

You don’t have to earn it.

You can fight.

You can move.

You can achieve.

But only with me.

Otherwise, it is fruitless.

It will only make you tired, susceptible.

With me, you are strong.

With me, your weaknesses are transformed.

Your mind, your heart, your body are made whole.

Nothing outside of me is whole.

I’m here

You need only to have faith, dear daughter.

You need only to listen and receive what to do.

It’s through faith you will have this.

No rushing.

No hurrying.

No worrying.

Just believe me.

Just come forward with me and

Take a step.

It will lead to me and

All I have for you.

It will be one step together.

It can only be done

With faith.

So believe me.

And rest in that.

Don’t overthink.

Don’t analyze.

Don’t hesitate to believe,

To let me lead.

Don’t hesitate to come.

You know my voice.

Listen for it. Be ready.

Stay attuned to it.

Keep your hands and ears and eyes and mind

Open for me.

It’s all good –

All that comes from me.

You know me.

Just listen.

I’m here.

I’m working it out and

I love you.

No one else

Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

-1 John 5:3-5, New Living Translation

Daughter, do not waste time on the world.

You don’t need to worry about what it thinks,

What it wants.

Do not try to appease it or even defeat it

On your own.

Do not dwell on what it does.

Instead, trust me.

Trust in what I am doing in your heart, your life.

What I have for you is great and will move you

Forward.

But remember that you’re also learning.

And this is what you need to learn today:

I AM sovereign.

Believe it when you speak it.

Believe that no one else has that kind of power

Over who you are

And what you’ll do.

Believe that no one will understand it.

Believe that it doesn’t have to be understood.

It only needs to be believed.

Share the gift

Trust me, daughter.

Let’s work together.

Let’s rest together.

Trust in all I have for you and

That it is good,

That it is beautiful.

Do not worry.

Do not fret.

Do not analyze.

Do not speculate.

Do not rely on your own thoughts,

Your understanding.

Only trust.

Trust in me, who holds everything,

Including you,

Including your future,

Including your talents,

Including your family,

Including all I have for you.

Open the gift

You can hand it all to me, daughter.

Just make sure you rest.

Rest is priority.

No work, no assignment, no task from me or man

Should surpass it.

Rest is my gift to you.

Use it, accept it.

Breathe it in and out.

When you accept it, you accept me, daughter.

When you rest, it is holy.

It is preparing you for all I have for you.

Remember that we have work to do together.

Remember that it will get done.

If it’s not today, it’s all right.

It will get done in the right time.

Now tend to your family, daughter.

Remember the garden?

Abide in me, rest in me.

It will all work out.

I’m working for you, daughter.

I work for those I love.

Let me be first

Listen to this week’s word

Daughter.

Keep leaning on me and keep listening.

Rest when you need to.

No one can take my rest from you.

Busyness will not move you faster.

I set the pace.

It is just the right pace for you.

I know you, daughter.

I know what’s best for you.

Let me take care of you today, every day.

Let me be seen and beheld by everyone you see.

Let me be first, the first thing they see about you.

The first thing you see about you.

Let me speak

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, let me speak to you now.

You don’t have to be perfect to hear my voice.

Don’t believe that you must complete so many tasks before you can hear me.

You can hear me now and here and everywhere.

I love you so much.

I want to be with you all the time, and so I am.

You can be with me all the time, too.

You don’t even have to search for me. I am always so close.

Through the joyous times and the hard times and everything in between.

Let me speak.

Let me come to you.

Listen and feel.

Don’t be afraid of my presence. I don’t come to disrupt or bring bad news.

I have good news. Always.

You are saved and loved and chosen.

Isn’t that good news?

And daughter, I know you need reminded. Come to me for that reminder.

Don’t try to find it anywhere else.

You won’t.

Your reassurance comes from me alone. My word and my presence are your reassurance.

With me, you can slow down and rest in that.

You can believe that I will heal every wound, wipe every tear, give you everything you need.

Yes, I’m providing exactly what you need to move forward.

Remember that it might look different.

Don’t be afraid to fail.

Don’t be afraid you’ll miss it.

Don’t be afraid you haven’t done enough or that your sins are too great.

Isn’t this what I died for?

Isn’t this why I rose again?

I did it for you, daughter.

I did it so you could feel my love for you.

The desire and the power

Listen to a reading of the text below

For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

-Philippians 2:13

Daughter, I know you struggled with that verse today.

It’s okay to struggle with the Word sometimes. You are human, and sometimes you don’t understand.

Remember that you always have the desire to do what pleases you – again, you are human.

But the desire to please me can take some time.

I’m teaching you this. I’m always teaching you this.

And yes, I will give you the desires of your heart.

But let’s look at your heart first.

Does it want to serve me or serve you?

Don’t you think I need someone to serve me where you are?

See.

That’s hard for you to ponder. Hard for you to hear. You don’t want to serve there.

Remember how I said I was teaching you to think differently?

Think about Jeremiah. Think about Daniel. Think about Moses.

Did they always like where they were assigned?

Think about Jonah and Joseph.

Did they like serving me where they were?

I put you in places where you’ll be different, but I give you people who aren’t so different to help.

Your sisters. Your family. Your children. Your friends.

Places and riches and things are made by man, but you, daughter, are made by me.

Don’t think for a second that you are less than what man makes or that it has to influence you.

Don’t think that you must conform or belong.

I put you here not to belong but to show my light.

Show them who I am, even if you think they won’t care or it won’t do any good.

Daniel was just a man, but with me, he was more. Same with the others.

Look at what they did. Look at how they showed my glory for generations to see, for you to see.

Think of these deep things, and try to understand.

Think of how I am working on your behalf, wherever you are.

And don’t forget the things that bring you joy without you even having to try.

I give those to you as a gift.

The hard things are a gift, too.

You’ll see it.

Just give yourself time.

Listen to me.

Trust me.

Rest in me.
