Jeremiah 17:7-8

Category: Letting go Page 1 of 4

Burn

Daughter, you can’t listen unless

You let go.

Your mind is crowded,

And it’s hard to hear.

I speak loud, clear

When you truly

Listen.

It won’t always feel comfortable

Or safe

To clear, uncrowd.

But truly,

It is.

I AM here,

Above,

Beneath,

Behind,

Beside

Crowded

Noise, clutter.

I never left it,

Waited for you

To hear me.

Do you hear?

Do you hear, my daughter?

Do you hear

Hope?

Hope is loud, quiet,

Strong, soft,

Shouting, whispering,

Boisterous, unintrusive,

Demanding, relenting.

Uncrowd,

Free,

Let go,

Let me.

I will never fail.

I will never leave.

I will never be far.

I will be near when you feel lost,

Hopeless,

Because it is not lost, hope

Is never lost.

It is found.

It is championed,

Lit onto

A footpath, a spark

To fire.

The fire inside

My daughter

Burns

Even when she doesn’t hope.

Just think how bright

When she lets it burn.

Let go, my daughter.

Let go.

Let go and let it

Burn.

What will

Daughter, let go of

What will,

What should.

It can be up to you

If you really want.

But daughter,

Leave it

To me.

Not knowing is

Not easy.

It causes

Questions,

Fear.

But daughter,

Don’t fear what your Advocate

Has for you.

Don’t fear the new, or

Doing it again.

Don’t believe the lie

That you can’t,

That you’re done.

I have more.

There will be aches,

Pains.

It will not always be clear –

Why,

Where,

How, but you,

My daughter, can be

Clear,

Cleansed,

Purged,

Rid of

Fear.

Do, and let me

Daughter, let go of

Yourself.

Your accomplishments,

Your dreams,

Your failures,

Your debts.

Daughter, I paid for them,

For you,

Willingly,

So you can move forward

Each day,

Closer to all

I have for you.

I’m waiting for you to come.

When you come, you move

Forward.

But you don’t have to wait.

The perfect moment

Will never come.

There will always be

Doubt,

Fear,

Hesitation,

Anxiety.

But daughter, this is how

I teach you.

Take a step.

Move forward.

Do, and

Let me.

You have the choice.

I will not force you.

You have all you need.

I AM ready

For you.

Take a step, and

Don’t be afraid.

Take a step, instead of

Longing.

It’s time.

I knew, I know

Daughter, why do you think

You will miss my direction?

You have heard me before

So clearly,

And you knew.

Why do you think

You won’t hear me again?

Daughter, you do not have to be

Good enough

To hear.

You do not have to

Measure up

To be near.

You cannot earn

My favor, even when

You believe.

I give to you because

I love you.

Oh, daughter, nothing you have

Is from you.

Nothing you have

Is from your hands.

What you have

Is given.

Material and immaterial.

Tangle and intangible.

Visible and invisible.

Seen and unseen.

Felt and unfelt.

Heard and unheard.

It all comes

From me.

I knew,

I know

you, and

Those I have for you.

I knew,

I know

How it will start,

How it will end,

How you will

Know.

Forward

Daughter, you have so far to go.

I am excited for it.

Aren’t you?

Look forward.

With me,

It will be joy.

With me,

You will learn

And grow.

With me,

It will all make sense.

With me,

You will see

What I’ve prepared,

Why I’ve called you.

Come with me, and

Don’t take anything, except

My hand.

Clear

Daughter, where I AM,

Where I call,

Where I beckon,

Is where you

Thrive.

It is not confusing or

Hard to see.

With me, all is

Clear.

That doesn’t mean there won’t be

Obstacles.

They will block

Your sight,

Be bigger than

What you’ve imagined or

Prepared for.

But let me clear

Your sight.

Let me give you

A light.

Let me make the way

Clear.

Walk

Daughter, you can’t walk

With those weights.

Put them down.

Walk with me, and

Be free.

Walk with me, and know

Purpose,

Strength,

Who you are.

Come, and

See what I will do.

Come, and

I’ll give you sight.

You won’t miss

What you’ve carried.

I promise.

Choose

Daughter, don’t rely on your plans,

Your actions.

Rely on me.

Rely on my plan,

My power.

With me, you can do

Anything.

Without me, you will do

Nothing.

Choose, daughter.

I will not force you.

But know

What  I can do.

Let go

Of all you clutch and

Come.

Found

Daughter, I love your heart.

I love your hope.

I love when they are abandoned

To me.

In abandonment,

You are found.

Your future is found.

Your next steps

Are found.

Your calling, your gifts

Are found.

Your dreams come to life.

Your heart,

Made for so much more,

Awakens.

Your strength,

Given by me,

Intensifies.

Your confidence

Arrives

When you find

Me.

Even more

Daughter, why is it so important that

It must belong to you?

You are more than

What you clutch.

What you hold

Does not define,

Does not fulfill,

Does not identify.

Only I can hold all of it.

Only I can hold

My daughter,

My love,

My chosen,

My masterpiece.

You are more than

What you hold,

What you desire,

What you dream.

Yes, daughter,

Even more.
