You will miss my direction?

You have heard me before

So clearly,

And you knew.

Why do you think

You won’t hear me again?

Daughter, you do not have to be

Good enough

To hear.

You do not have to

Measure up

To be near.

You cannot earn

My favor, even when

You believe.

I give to you because

I love you.

Oh, daughter, nothing you have

Is from you.

Nothing you have

Is from your hands.

What you have

Is given.

Material and immaterial.

Tangle and intangible.

Visible and invisible.

Seen and unseen.

Felt and unfelt.

Heard and unheard.

It all comes

From me.

I knew,

I know

you, and

Those I have for you.

How it will start,

How it will end,

How you will

Know.

Daughter, do not despair about today.

You feel heaviness, hopelessness,

But daughter, this is false.

It is not the truth

About who you are.

As my daughter,

You can stand up

And walk.

You can move

Without bonds, chains.

You can stand.

You can go forward.

There is no need to cower,

No need to sulk.

Let me take those burdens.

Let me take the weight.

You are free.

There is nothing to hold you down.

There is nothing to thwart my will,

My plan.

I AM fighting for you.

I love you too much to let you be taken,

To be weighed, measured by

Meaninglessness.
