Jeremiah 17:7-8

Category: Fear Page 1 of 2

You have nothing to fear as a daughter of God.

And when

Daughter, come to me

When you have questions,

When you are overwhelmed,

When you cannot understand,

When tears don’t stop sorrow,

When you feel hopeless, helpless,

When your feelings dictate.

When you come,

I will guide you.

When you ask,

I will hear you.

When you wander,

I will find you.

When you cry,

I will hold you.

And when you find joy,

You will find

Me.

See Deuteronomy 31:8; Psalm 32; Matthew 11:28-30; John 16:16-33; Romans 8:35-39; Philippians 4:6-9; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 3:20-22

Stand

Daughter, why should you be afraid?

Why should you think you are so

Unimportant?

Oh, daughter, put those lies away,

Cast them to hell.

Daughter, nothing

Will change my love for you.

Nothing will keep me away from you.

Remember your right standing.

You have right standing with me,

So stand up.

Don’t cower.

Don’t shrivel or waste away.

Stand.

Whole

Daughter, how often do I tell you to rest?

You think there is too much to do.

It is only through my rest that you will accomplish anything.

I won’t give what you ask when you strive.

I won’t guide you when you insist on leading me.

Daughter, know my sovereignty.

Know that with me, you have everything.

You have my favor, child.

You don’t have to earn it.

You can fight.

You can move.

You can achieve.

But only with me.

Otherwise, it is fruitless.

It will only make you tired, susceptible.

With me, you are strong.

With me, your weaknesses are transformed.

Your mind, your heart, your body are made whole.

Nothing outside of me is whole.

Because I am with you

Oh, daughter, where is your faith?

Believe that I am working for you right now.

There is nothing to separate us

Except what you build up.

Don’t you see how you’ve grown since you first believed?

It is belief that’s gotten you there.

And it is faith that will bring you where I have for you.

Yes, where I have for you.

It is a new place, a new task, a new assignment.

A new way for you.

It is what your heart longs for.

It is the freedom you want.

It is the assignment you are designed for.

Don’t be afraid of it.

You will do it because I will help you,

Because I am with you.

How did Moses do it?

How did Jonah and Joseph and Daniel and Jeremiah?

They did it with me.

And you will do it with me,

But only with me.

Going is resting

Let’s go, daughter.

There is so much for us to do together.

Don’t hold back.

Come with me.

Let me guide you through the steps.

You won’t fall.

Be brave when I tell you to come.

Walk to me, and you’ll know the steps to take.

Walk to me, and you’ll know that going

is resting.

Stop and rest now, child.

Focus on me.

Just me.

I renew you.

You can do today.

And you can do tomorrow.

You can do each step I have for you.

You can move forward with me.

I’ll hold you the whole time.

I’ll love you the whole time.

No limit

Listen to this week’s word

Daughter, I know there is so much you want to do.

I know how your heart longs for more.

I know you.

I know your pain and your doubts and everything you’re questioning.

Be still.

Daughter, don’t be ashamed to cry.

Don’t pretend to be strong.

You can admit your weakness.

Come to me with your weakness.

Come to me when you can’t take any more,

No matter how soon you think it is.

I know your threshold.

I know your limits.

I have no limit.

I have no limit of how much I can help you.

Daughter, I can help you in everything.

There isn’t a single thing you have to do alone.

I am with you always.

Always.

It doesn’t matter where you are, what you’ve accomplished,

Or what you haven’t.

I’m still here.

Even now

Listen to this week’s word

Daughter, come to me now.

Your mind is racing, and you are afraid.

You are afraid of failing.

You are afraid of unhappiness.

You are afraid that you have been wrong.

Oh, my daughter, where is your faith?

Don’t push it aside for what the world has to offer.

Don’t push it aside when you think you can’t take any more.

Don’t push it aside to do things your way.

Remember that I am holding you.

Yes, even now, after you believe you’ve done everything wrong.

Yes, you make choices, and they’re not always right.

But let me redeem you and set it right.

Don’t worry that you can’t get back to me.

Daughter, you never left me.

You’ve known I’m here, yet you doubted.

Don’t doubt.

Don’t leave.

I will never leave.

Don’t give up on my plan.

Trust me.

Trust my way and my word.

Always, faithfully

Listen to this week’s word

Daughter, don’t be afraid.

Don’t be afraid to speak and write.

Don’t be afraid to accept the glorious love I have for you.

Don’t ever hesitate to run to me.

No matter what you’ve done or even if you’ve done nothing wrong.

I enjoy holding you.

I enjoy you.

You are never too much.

I never tire of comforting you.

Don’t worry about time.

Don’t worry that you’ll miss me or something important.

This is important.

Chaos is around you, always. But I am not chaos.

I am grounded.

I am peace.

I am constant.

I am here.

I am always, faithfully here.

Let me speak

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, let me speak to you now.

You don’t have to be perfect to hear my voice.

Don’t believe that you must complete so many tasks before you can hear me.

You can hear me now and here and everywhere.

I love you so much.

I want to be with you all the time, and so I am.

You can be with me all the time, too.

You don’t even have to search for me. I am always so close.

Through the joyous times and the hard times and everything in between.

Let me speak.

Let me come to you.

Listen and feel.

Don’t be afraid of my presence. I don’t come to disrupt or bring bad news.

I have good news. Always.

You are saved and loved and chosen.

Isn’t that good news?

And daughter, I know you need reminded. Come to me for that reminder.

Don’t try to find it anywhere else.

You won’t.

Your reassurance comes from me alone. My word and my presence are your reassurance.

With me, you can slow down and rest in that.

You can believe that I will heal every wound, wipe every tear, give you everything you need.

Yes, I’m providing exactly what you need to move forward.

Remember that it might look different.

Don’t be afraid to fail.

Don’t be afraid you’ll miss it.

Don’t be afraid you haven’t done enough or that your sins are too great.

Isn’t this what I died for?

Isn’t this why I rose again?

I did it for you, daughter.

I did it so you could feel my love for you.

I am willing

Listen to a reading of the text below

Daughter, great things will happen, and you can believe me because I am that I am.

Remember that none is greater, that my glory is greater.

I will help you and teach you and give you all you need.

Do not be afraid, and do not doubt it. I will be with you always.

I am willing.

Yes, you heard correctly. You can believe that, believe me. I am always true. I never lie, never deceive you, never let the enemy take you.

I empower you and give you strength to fight.

Keep resting, child, so you can fight. Rest your mind and heart today to be ready. It will not be easy, but it will be joyful. It will not be possible without the Holy Spirit.

Keep trusting me to show you, and I will. I never fail, never stop speaking to you. I never stop holding you and guiding you and healing you. Do not let fear get in your way.

My will cannot be thwarted. Your will can, and you have to remember that I want what is good for you. I protect you and love you, and you have no need to worry, child.

Let me hold you today and every day in all you do. Let me guide you and help you share my light. Do not be consumed by entertainment, but instead be consumed by love and peace.

Don’t be afraid of being tired. I give you rest for that. Go rest, so you can feel better. I’m healing you, and you don’t need to strive. Go rest, daughter.

We have a lot to do together. I’m excited to do it. Are you?

Take your hand, put it in mine, and come forward with me. I’ll lead you forward, not to death or disaster, but to life and opportunity.

No, daughter, don’t fear. You have nothing to fear. You are armed and protected.

Perfect love expels all fear – remember?

I am perfect love. I have perfect love for you.

Go rest, child. And know that I love you.
