Accept

You are a gift to me, daughter.

When I made you, I was

Delighted.

I still am

When I’m with you.

That doesn’t change,

Doesn’t wane.

Before you were born,

After you die,

My love remains

Constant.

Don’t believe the lie that

You’re not good enough,

That you shouldn’t have my gifts.

Daughter, I want to give them to you.

I want to help you.

I want to be with you.

Let me take care of you.

Let me give what I have for you –

All of it.

I won’t hold back.

Don’t hold back from me.

Daughter, I invite you.

Accept.

Accept and hold on.

Accept and walk with me.

Accept and know

Joy.

Receive

Daughter, receive what I have for you.

Don’t be afraid to do so.

I take care of you.

I know what’s best.

There’s nothing I won’t do,

Nothing I won’t give for you.

I already gave it because

I saw you,

Loved you

From the start.

Let me keep giving.

You only have to be who you are to receive it.

Not who the world tells you to be.

Who you really are.

My daughter.

My beloved.

My masterpiece.

My vessel.

Let me shower you with all you need.

Let me lead you and hold you

And love you.

Let me give the kingdom to you.

You don’t even have to speak.

You don’t have to do anything to earn it.

Just believe.

Receive.

Gifted

Daughter, do you know how much I want to give you?

The Kingdom is yours when you believe,

When you rely on me and walk with me.

I want to give you everything.

You are my daughter, my beloved.

Don’t you love to give to those you love?

You get that from me, child.

Hold your hands open to receive what I have for you.

I give good gifts.

I give gifts just for you because

I know you.

I know what your heart needs and wants.

I know what will give you joy.

Don’t expect my gifts to be what you receive from the world.

Those gifts are temporary, fleeting.

My gifts last.

I give you gifts that grow and change and stay.

I give you gifts that evolve.

I give you gifts that are more.

Keep your hands open today, child.

Everything, every day

Oh, daughter, you will see what I have for you, but you can see what I have for today, too.

Every day is a gift. There is something in every day.

I am with you every day. Always.

I never tire of you.

I know you have dreams and all the things you wish you could do and all the things you wish you didn’t have to do.

But I am with you in all these things.

I don’t leave you to fight it out alone or even enjoy it alone.

I want you to share it all with me.

I’m there. I’m in it anyway. Remember I’m there.

Acknowledge me, yes, but invite me to be with you.

I like when you come to me.

I never turn you away. I always want to help.

No task is too big or too small for me.

You and I can achieve so much more together.

On your own, you can do so little. With me, you can do so much.

So much more than you can think or ask.

What I have is yours, daughter, because you are my inheritance.

See it and accept it.

Take what is given to you not just for one thing or one area of your life but for everything.

See how my glory and my abundance fills everything in your life.

See Deuteronomy 4:20 and 32:9-11 (NIV translations*); Deuteronomy 8:17-18 and 31:8; Psalm 16:5, 7-8, 11; Psalm 37:3-5; Psalm 139:7-10; Isaiah 54:10; Matthew 6:33-34 and 28:18-20; John 15:5-8; Ephesians 3:20; Philippians 4:11-13; Colossians 1:11-17; 1 Peter 5:6-7

*I have used the New International Version for these verses in Deuteronomy because of the word “inheritance,” which is also in the King James Version. In the New Living Translation, it is written as “special possession” in Deuteronomy 4:20 and 32:9. The words are synonymous, but “inheritance” is clearer in this case. However it’s stated, know that you are precious to God.
